Hello, there! And thank you for visiting my new blog!

Here at British Brown History in this blog section, I will chart my research. It will be a friendly way to communicate with my audience of like minded interested people.

Feel free to contribute your thoughts about this project. You maybe thinking why there will be references colonial India even though this research is about British Asians. Well I’m afraid both India pre, post and colonial is intrinsically linked and they cannot and should not be seper if you wish to have an impartial decision. 

Why did I start blogging?

We draw inspiration and ideas for our projects from everything we do in our in our everyday lives. A song we hear whilst passing a building site being played on the radio. Snippets of information we gather from social media or flicking through the channels on TV. Everything is a source of information that we need to embrace. Starting this blog will allow me to share with the world where I draw my inspiration from everyday, or I might write something that has just interested me. In either case it will be a record or a log of my thoughts recorded for everybody to see and share with me. 

What can you expect to find here in my blog?

Here in my blog, you will have exclusive access to all sorts of ideas and updates that I will come across so we can all get the most out of every related research I develop.
